I have experience in getting in front of the cameras/microphones to explain what I do, how I do it and, foremost, why I do it. As a confident communicator and presenter, I feel confortable in speakingw with the media without previous preparation, even in different languages. I have also defended team’s strategy and scientific results on the press. Furthermore, I enjoy the social aspect of interacting with people by means of listening and connecting with them to bring the most out of a discussion.

Spokesperson for the ESA Euclid mission
Since early 2023 I am an ESA spokesperson for the Euclid mission. During the Euclid launch campaign I have been interviewed for national and international media such as BBC, Antena 3, TVE, Al Jazeera, El Pais, EFE, ABC, DW, among others.
I have also participated in YouTube channels (Fuera de Órbita, RAZOR Science Show), in ESA TV (during the live Euclid launch broadcast), different podcasts (i.e: The Naked Scientists) and I am behind (sometimes) the ESA Euclid Twitter account.

Interview for «New Scientist» magazine
I was invited to give an interview for the special number of the magazine «New Scientist» in collaboration with the Delta Institute for Theoretical Physics. I was my first ever interview in Dutch, and also my first ever experience in a photo-shooting by a professional photographer (many thanks for your amazing work Bram Belloni).
The interview was about my research, my experience as a PhD Candidate in theoretical physics in the Netherlands and about Euclid, of course. Here you can read the English translation of the interview.

I participated in an online seminar of Leiden University answering live questions from students all around the world that were interested in studying the Master’s degree in Physics at Leiden University, as a part of the student recruitment campaign.
